Paul Richard — Founder of Spiritual Tag
My name is Paul Richard, and I founded Spiritual Tag in 2009 after a moment of grace that changed everything.
In 2005, at a Juan XXIII retreat, God intervened. I arrived carrying years of struggle, and I should have walked out in pain, battling withdrawals. Instead, in just three days, God set me free. No darkness. No fear. Only peace — the kind I had never known. That mercy awakened my true mission.
I grew up in New York City, and creativity has always been my first language.
I was raised by my mother, Rose Mary, who gave Spiritual Tag its name — believing our lives should be a visible “tag” of Christ’s love
One of my favorite scriptures is John 8:32: “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” That truth shapes every design we create.
My journey hasn’t been easy — none of ours are. But through every piece we make, every person we meet, every movement we support, and every charity God entrusts to us, our mission is simple: to offer hope.
